General User Information

Instructions for Use
  1. Confirm that this laser eye protection is appropriate for the laser source being used. Do this by checking the eyewear’s optical density (OD) and/or LB (CE) specifications, which are marked on it, and confirm that they are sufficient for your application.
  2. Feel free to contact us, the laser manufacturer or your organization’s LSO with any questions you may have.
  3. This laser eye protection is intended to protect against accidental and temporary laser exposure only for its specified wavelengths.
  4. The degree of light attenuation and/or color of the filters can impair one’s ability to recognize warning lights or warning signs.
  5. If the lenses of this device are damaged, scratched, or undergo color changes, then they shall not be used anymore and should be replaced.
  6. Laser eyewear must be worn by anyone within the nominal ocular hazard zone (NOHZ) of a laser device.
  7. Potentially harmful light can be reflected by metals, plastics and other reflective materials, and this risk should be controlled for e.g. by having those in the NOHZ remove jewelry to maintain a predictable NOHZ geometry.
  8. Laser beams should be considered with extreme caution because of their energy density. They must be directed intentionally. Interaction of a laser beam with the eyes, even with the appropriate protective eyewear on, can cause varying degrees of damage based on the type of laser.
  9. For additional product information, including EU/UKCA declarations of conformity, visit our website.
  10. Please, do not modify this product to be used as it was not intended without consulting the manufacturer first.
  11. This product comes with a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty.
How to Disinfect, Store and Inspect Disinfect the eyewear using an alcohol solution, either, applied liberally on a cloth or sprayed on the entire surface and wiped off with a cloth. A non-abrasive cloth should be used when disinfecting the lenses to maximize their lifetime. Store the disinfected eyewear in a cool, dry place within their protective case. Check lenses periodically for scratching, cracking, bleaching and any changes in color.
